This week, Hamilton announced a new, smaller version of the Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto, to be sold alongside the larger version.
The Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto is now offered in a 38 mm diameter case, in addition to the 42 mm diameter version. There are three references to choose from, including a titanium case and black dial, a titanium case with an olive dial, and. a gray concrete-like dial with a black PVD coated titanium case.
Hamilton’s Khaki Field Titanium Auto 38 has a sapphire crystal protecting the dial, an exhibition caseback, a screw-down crown, and a water-resistance rating of 100 meters. paired with a leather strap. Each watch is paired with a thick, non-tapered leather strap that measures 20 mm wide.
The highly legible “field watch” dial has no date window, is stamped with luminunscent Arabic numerals, features luminescent Sword-shaped hour and minute hands, and an arrow tipped, luminscent seconds hand. Inside the hours ring is a coordinating 24-hour military time scale printed in white, and on the perimeter of the dial is a 0-60 scale that indicates minutes/seconds.
Driving the time only watch — hours, minutes, center seconds — is an ETA-based automatic movement that Hamilton calls the H-10, which beats at 4Hz and has an 80-hour power reserve. Although rather basic, the movement can be viewed from through the clear caseback.
The three 2022 Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto 38 wristwatch models (Ref. H70205860 – olive dial H70205830 – black dial, H70215880 – gray dial) will be available for $895 in titanium and $945 in black titanium.
