Armin Strom’s latest Mirrored Force Resonance pairs a new light green grenage dial with its patented resonance technology.

The Mirrored Force Resonance Manufacture Edition Green is presented in a stainless steel case measuring 43 mm x 11.55 mm, with a box-shaped sapphire crystal that sits above the plane of the bezel, which highlights the premium components, dial, and finishing beneath it.

Featuring Armin Strom’s off-center dial on the right, the dual balance wheels which work in resonance to regulate timekeeping are interconnected via a patented resonance clutch spring on the left, and which keep the twin seconds displays in sync while making full rotations every 60 seconds.

Punctuated with Sword-shaped hour and minute hands, crafted from stainless steel, and skeletonized, the hands have been manufactured and finished in-house by Armin Strom — something most watchmakers cannot say. Like the twin seconds displays, the hours and minutes are regulated by the dual balance systems and feature a green circular guilloche chapter ring. Additionally, the center of the hour and minute dial has been given a light green grenage finish, which is a luxurious way of creating a frosted surface.

All of the chamfers are hand-polished and have been partially beveled by machine and by hand. All of the dial side finishes have been crafted by machines or tools operated by hand resulting in frosted, perlage, and circular-grained surfaces. Like other top independent or small quantity timepiece manufacturing, each movement is assembled by hand twice to ensure perfect fit and functionality.
