Jacob & Co has made numerous gem-set versions of its Caviar Flying Tourbillon, including one with emeralds, however, this unique piece may look like it has emeralds, but they’re not.

In celebration of brand ambassador Cristiano Ronaldo’s joining the Saudia Arabian Football Club Al Nassr, Jacob & Co created a one-of-a-kind Caviar Flying Tourbillon, set not with emeralds but with Tsavorites (which have a similar color and appearance to emeralds, but offer a more brilliant sparkle and are far rarer).

Using an 18K white gold 47 mm x 15.85 mm Caviar case design, Jacob the Jeweler set case, bezel, dial, and crown with over 300 Tsavorite gemstones resulting in a piece unique. Green is an important color in Saudia Arabian culture, which is why it was chosen for this special timepiece.

Driving the hours, minutes, and 60-second flying tourbillon (visible at 6), and the power reserve indicator, is caliber JCAA43 which measures 34.6 mm x 6.81 mm, beats at 4Hz, has 216 components, 27 jewels, and a 42-hour power reserve.

The Cristiano Ronaldo Caviar Flying Tourbillon “Tsavorite” timepiece is paired with a matching green alligator leather strap and is not for sale but its suggested retail price is $780K.
