Fueling further speculation ahead of Rolex’s forthcoming new watch releases, which are set to be announced Monday, March 27, 2023, in Geneva at Watches and Wonders — Rolex dropped this teaser video on YouTube.

In the video you can clearly see a tapered crown for one of the new watches, which based on the current catalog is almost certainly a Cellini, and arguably the least appealing Rolex of all. You also see a sailboat, which has got to be a nod to another of the least desirable Rolexes, the Yachtmaster or Yachtmaster II. There’s some hope, though considering it’s the 70th anniversary of the Submariner and Explorer, and it looks like both are briefly shown in the teaser. Whether the GMT Master II or Daytona will see any updates is surely of interest, considering the popularity of the two models, however, it looks like will just have to wait and see.

Finally, we have the cover image for this article, which appears to be a new dial color for the Oyster Perpetual or Milgauss — based on the positioning of the crown — or perhaps a new model altogether. Stay tuned to ProfessionalWatches.com on Monday, March 27th for the latest live Rolex news as soon as we get it.

Here is a list of some of our predictions for potential 2023 new Rolex watch drops.
