Citizen is bringing a new automatic, integrated stainless steel bracelet wristwatch, to the US.
After debuting the Tsuyosa NJ015 Automatic abroad in 2022, Citizen’s new entry-priced mechanical watch collection will now be available stateside in 2023.
Seamlessly integrated stainless steel bracelet wristwatches are in vogue — regardless of price point — and every watchmaker knows this, and seemingly most have created something new or expanded existing collections, to take advantage of the trend.
The Tsuyosa NJ015 Automatic features a 40 mm x 11.7 mm case and is available in five dial color variations, (Ref. NJ015-56E – black), (Ref. NJ015-56L – blue), (Ref. NJ015-56Z – yellow), (Ref. NJ015-53M – ice blue), and (Ref. NJ015-56X – green).
While Citizen focuses heavily on quartz timepieces, the Tsuyosa NJ015 is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. Citizen’s 3Hz automatic caliber 8210 has a 40-hour power reserve and is based on sister company Miyota’s 8xxx series.
The Tsuyosa NJ015 Automatic will be available for sale in the US later this month for a retail price of $450.
